On this page we will talk to you about the cage for your cavy. There are all different types of cages including wire cages, glass cages, and C&C cages. I really disagree with glass cages , even if you have cats or dogs that would really want to get into the cage. The glass cage has horrible ventilation, and only should used temporarily in an emergency situation. If you are afraid that your cat/dog will get your cavies, just put the cage in a room and always keep the door closed. That is what I do, because i have 3 cats, 2 of which are overly active :P. I suggest a C&C cage or a wire cage. I personally have a wire cage, but it is too small for my too cavies. C&C cages are overall a lot better. They are much larger and you can design how it is so it can fit into you home. If you are horrible at putting things together(like I am sometimes) then you can buy them put together online.
